Aayushi Gala
Hello! I’m Aayushi Gala, a first-generation immigrant and brown woman who brings a culturally attuned and reflective lens to therapy. I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from New York University, where I was trained in trauma-informed, psychodynamic, and relational approaches. My clinical experience includes working with queer clients and communities of color, helping individuals navigate identity, belonging, and emotional well-being. I’m fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati, and can offer sessions in any of these languages.

Therapy with me is a collaborative and exploratory journey centered on your experiences, goals, and values. The space we create together is grounded in empathy, openness, and mutual trust; a space where you can feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. My approach is flexible and integrative, drawing from client-centered, psychodynamic, relational, and expressive arts therapies to best meet your needs.

Our work will explore how identity and lived experience shape emotional health. Curiosity, creativity, and authenticity guide the process, allowing for depth, self-discovery, and healing in ways that feel aligned with who you are.

I work best with individuals who value exploration, reflection, and a supportive, adaptable therapeutic relationship. If you’re seeking a therapist who will meet you where you are and co-create a space that honors your story, we might be a great fit.

Let’s begin this journey together and explore what healing and fulfillment can look like for you.
