Therapy can feel incredibly overwhelming for a variety of reasons – whether it is your first session, or your hundredth. My goal as a therapist is to make you feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. I greatly value the relationship I have with each of my clients, as it sets the foundation for the success of the work we will do together. I tailor my approach uniquely to each of my clients, but woven through all my sessions and interactions is a mix of compassion, encouragement, psychoeducation, and sometimes a little bit of humor (life is hard enough, don’t you think?).
I obtained my Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Manhattan College, and am currently pursuing my MBA online from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Prior to this, I received my Honors Bachelor of Arts with a double major in both Sociology and Criminology from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada. I grew up in Canada but was born in Romania, and am fully fluent in Romanian.
The struggles you are facing are overwhelming enough – therapy shouldn’t have to be. Let’s work together to improve your quality of life and reach your goals.
