My goal is to help you improve your life—whatever that may look like for you. I'm Emma, and I'm currently working on my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Yeshiva University. I also studied at McGill University and have a BA in Psychology, along with double minors in Behavioral Science and Sociology. I know that therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, so I tailor my approach to your unique needs, personality and cultural background. In our sessions, we'll focus on exploring your past, current problems, and work together to create the future you want. We can also explore how childhood experiences and trauma might influence your behaviors today. My aim is to help you address deeper issues, gain insight, learn to truly feel and regulate your emotions, and ultimately enhance your quality of life. I work with children, adolescents, and young adults, and my therapeutic style is mainly in psychodynamic approaches, along with mindfulness interventions, CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing. Together, we'll explore which approach feels best for you. I focus on areas like anxiety, depression, relationships and dating, attachment styles, PTSD, eating disorders and bipolar disorders. Over time, in a compassionate and nonjudgmental environment where you feel fully supported, my goal is to empower each client to achieve growth and self-fulfillment.
