It is my belief that you should never suffer in silence. That is why I am here, to help guide you on a journey of self-exploration and healing. I utilize an integrative approach based on your individual needs, and together we will create a custom treatment plan to optimize growth and success in the therapy room. I will often incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy into our sessions to help you adjust maladaptive thought patterns and behaviors, as well as utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy techniques to help you regulate and manage intense emotions. It is my goal to empower you to make the changes that feel right for you, and to always make you feel comfortable, validated, and safe under my care.
My educational background includes an M.A. in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University and a B.S. in psychology from Coastal Carolina University. I spent my undergraduate years contributing to the mental health field by supporting and advocating for survivors of abuse, patients in crisis, and patients with a variety of mental health conditions, within psychiatric hospitals and sexual assault crisis centers.
I am dedicated to changing the stigmas surrounding mental health and being the person that helps you create the best version of yourself.
