Taking the step to seek therapy is a courageous decision, and I am dedicated to supporting you on this journey. By connecting the dots between your past experiences and present challenges, my therapeutic approach blends evidence-based methods using insight-driven and action-oriented strategies tailored to your needs and specific goals. My approach is active because I share your desire for change and progress.
For me, successful therapy is not merely about returning to a “normal” state, but about discovering pathways toward your personal best. Seeking support is brave, and I am here to hold a safe space where, together, we can explore and develop strategies to achieve your goals.
As a bilingual therapist, I offer sessions in both English and Spanish. I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, where I gained experience working in a psychiatric hospital and a juvenile prison, shaping my compassionate and nonjudgmental worldview. Outside the therapy room, I work as an Adjunct Lecturer in Psychology at CUNY, teaching undergraduate students. Currently, I am completing my master's degree in mental health counseling at the City College of New York.
I look forward to navigating the challenges you face and uncovering the strengths within you.
