Do you accept insurance?

We accept most PPO insurance plans (that is, if you have out of network benefits, we will do all the billing and wait for your insurance to pay us, so that you don't have to).  With most therapists, you pay them in full up front and they give you a receipt so you can submit it to your insurance.  Not us, we help you avoid as much of the upfront costs as possible so that you can get the care you need.

We are also in-network for Cigna, Magnacare, and Humana.

What is a deductible?

The amount of your deductible can range from $0 to $10,000 or more, regardless if you are in network or out of network.

A deductible is the amount of $ that your insurance expects you to pay out of pocket for medical treatment BEFORE they are required to make payments according to your contract with them.  Often times, after your deductible is met, your insurance company will pay for between 50% and 100% of the cost of treatment.

Do you offer sliding scale?

Yes!  Our sliding scale is for those people who don't have insurance.  It starts at $100 and goes up from there, depending on your income.  Proof of income is required in order to qualify.

How much are your sessions?

The initial session, called the intake, is $275.  Each additional 45 minute session after that is $225.

Do you offer bi-weekly sessions?

No. Not at first.  Studies show that therapy is only effective if you see your therapist weekly.  Bi-weekly sessions just don't offer the same benefits and we don't want to waste your time and money.   Bi-weekly sessions are usually reserved for clients who have been in therapy consistently on a weekly basis for the amount of time required to reach their goals and who want maintenance sessions to help ease the transition to leaving therapy altogether.
