I believe therapy is a collaborative process that helps us better understand our relationship with ourselves, others, and the world around us. Through this understanding, therapy can support meaningful introspection, healthier patterns, and personal growth. While this work can feel vulnerable at times, I strive to create a warm, safe, and supportive space where we can explore your experiences together at a pace that feels comfortable for you.As a Chinese-American woman, I am especially committed to providing a culturally sensitive and affirming therapeutic environment. I believe that each person’s background and lived experience shapes their therapeutic journey, and that no two paths in therapy look the same. My approach is primarily humanistic and client-centered, while also drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities to support your individual goals.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Baruch College and am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. I have experience working with individuals navigating substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges, as well as children with ADHD. These experiences inform my compassionate, collaborative approach to care.
