I believe that everyone comes from a unique background and has diverse identities, therefore, there is no one size fits all approach to therapy. My therapeutic approach is an eclectic one, pulling techniques from multiple theories including Multicultural Psychology, Mindfulness Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Positive psychology. I take a holistic, collaborative approach to therapy- one that sees and values every part of who you are. My goal is to create a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space where you can show up as your full, authentic self. Whether you're navigating a specific challenge or seeking deeper understanding to who you are, we’ll work together at your pace, focusing on what matters most to you. In this space, you are seen, heard, and supported.
I graduated from Teachers College, Columbia University with a Master of Arts (M.A) and a Masters of Education (M.Ed) in Psychology: Mental Health Counseling. I previously graduated from the American University in Cairo with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
