My approach is grounded in the belief that each person is unique, and that therapy should be tailored to the individual's needs. I feel strongly about the inherent capacity of humans to heal and grow. Using an integrative approach, I strive to build a strong and trusting relationship with my clients, so that they feel safe to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Through establishing a non-judgmental and affirmative space I seek to empower my clients whilst providing a collaborative space to explore their unique experiences. I have experience working in a residential treatment center where I worked closely with adolescents struggling with mental illness and trauma. I also interned with the Division of Child and Family Services where I worked with children and families to help them find or create a more stable home environment.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Utah Valley University. I am currently completing my Master’s in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness Program at New York University.
