With a deep sense of curiosity, I am committed to understanding the unique lived experiences of each individual I work with. I utilize a client centered approach to create a warm, compassionate, and collaborative therapeutic environment. My practice is grounded in a strong belief in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship. Therefore, I strive to build a genuine and trusting relationship with each of my clients. I understand the importance of cultural humility and the value of cultural identity as it pertains to each person’s therapeutic journey. I take a holistic approach to therapy that integrates relational, narrative, and psychodynamic modalities. I also employ somatic and mindfulness techniques to create an individualized treatment that centers the goals that we define together. I aim to provide a therapeutic space that is trauma-informed and affirming to all identities. I believe in the power of personal narratives and the importance of understanding how stories shape our lives. I am dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their internal worlds and feel empowered to work toward lasting positive change. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Georgia, and I am currently completing both my Master’s in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness and an Advanced Certificate in LGBTQ+ Health, Education, and Social Services at New York University.
