My goal as a therapist is to create a safe, comfortable environment for you to share your stories and feel heard and understood. I am dedicated to helping my clients find self-acceptance, recognize their worth, and improve their day-to-day functioning. I believe that no one deserves to face life’s challenges on their own, and I am honored to join you on your therapy journey.
Based on our collaborative work and on an assessment of your goals, I will create an individualized treatment plan to best address your needs. I use an integrative style in therapy that combines person-centered, psychodynamic, and humanistic techniques, as well as cognitive behavioral therapies.
I recognize how intimidating therapy can be, and how difficult the first few sessions feel. As your therapist, I will meet you where you’re at and provide you with the space to express your fears, insecurities, dreams, and aspirations. By offering you unconditional acceptance, support, empathy, and understanding, I hope to empower you to be your most genuine, honest, and vulnerable self during sessions. Mental wellness is a lifelong endeavor, and I am excited to work with you on your personal growth and healing journey.
I received my Bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology and my Master’s degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University. I am dedicated to serving clients of all backgrounds and identities and am committed to maintaining a strong sense of cultural humility and awareness in my work.
