I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and providing support on the journey towards holistic wellness. Whether you are starting your first session ever or are seasoned in the world of psychotherapy, I wholeheartedly acknowledge your efforts to take this step towards finding positive changes in your life.
In my practice, I provide a non-judgmental space for my clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I have an eclectic approach to therapy utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, humanistic therapy, psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and psychosomatic techniques. I am dedicated to tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each individual. As a therapist, I strive to collaboratively work together to find the best strategies to improve everyday life.
I am happy to work with clients from all walks of life from diverse backgrounds and upbringings. I have a particular interest in working with LGBTQ+ individuals, young adults, and minorities. I am also intent on working with people suffering from grief, depression, anxiety, sleep difficulties, self-injurious behaviors, interpersonal struggles and substance misuse.
I graduated with my bachelor's degree Magna Cum Laude from CUNY Queens College. Along with an undergraduate counseling practicum, I have volunteer experience in crisis intervention at Crisis Text Line. Prior to my residency at The Soho Center, I spent a year working at the Queens College Counseling Center doing student risk assessments. I am currently completing my master's degree in Mental Health Counseling at Baruch College.
