Strength doesn't always come from what you can do, but from overcoming the things you thought you couldn't do. I view therapy as a collaborative process through which one may discover more about oneself, their environment and navigating new beginnings. I strive to develop relationships rooted in trust by creating a safe, warm, and judgement-free environment. My approach integrates elements of cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic therapy models to help my clients better understand their past and improve their future.
I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in education from Ursinus College. My post graduate work has involved working with children who were diagnosed with autism and other learning disabilities, along with their parents, which taught me the dynamics of one's environment as well as the complexities and influence of inter- and intra- personal relationships. I am currently completing my master's degree in mental health counseling at St. Bonaventure University.
