Tori Amos once said “Healing takes courage and we all have courage, even if we have to dig a little to find it” which resonates deeply with my approach to therapy. I strongly believe that there is inherent strength and resilience within everyone, even during times when one may feel they have none. As your therapist, I aim to help you uncover and harness that inner courage to begin your healing journey. The road won’t be easy and at times it may feel uncomfortable, I assure you it will be meaningful and impactful.
I truly believe in the power of human connection and the transformative potential of therapeutic relationships. With an integrative, humanistic, person-centered therapeutic approach, I aim to create a safe and compassionate space where you are able to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. I am here to support you on your journey of self-awareness and self-discovery. Together, we will collaborate to pinpoint your goals and develop a personalized plan of action that suits your specific needs.
As a first-generation college student, I am proud to have earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Howard University. Currently, I am pursuing my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Brooklyn College.
I look forward to meeting you!
