Carl Rogers once said, "When I have been listened to and when I have been heard, I am able to re-perceive my world in a new way and to go on." I believe that deep, attentive listening is a cornerstone of effective therapy, allowing us to truly understand our clients' experiences and walk alongside them in their journey. A strong therapeutic alliance is built on this foundation, fostering trust, insight, and growth.

My therapeutic approach is eclectic and adaptable, always tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment, drawing from person-centered, psychodynamic, and relational therapy to provide compassionate and effective support. Together, we can collaborate to set goals, develop life skills, and navigate life's unpredictability.

As a first-generation Afro-Latina, I am excited to begin counseling at The Soho Center. I hold a BA in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and currently pursuing my master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Baruch College. I deeply believe in the power of support and advocacy, and I hope to be a steady presence in my clients' lives as they embark on their path to healing and self-discovery
