It’s my belief that every person has the innate capacity for healing and growth, but change can be difficult. I am honored to join you along this journey and support you at every step of the way. My goal as a therapist is to create a nonjudgmental and supportive environment where you can explore your emotions and work toward self-acceptance.
Therapy is a collaborative process, which begins by building a genuine and authentic relationship. Together we will explore the complexities and nuances of your life in order to identify your goals for the future. Throughout my experience, I have worked with a wide range of people of various backgrounds and ages who have struggled with grief, depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, relationship concerns, and navigating LGBTQ+ identities.
As a queer woman, my identities are inextricable from my work, which is grounded in an integrative, trauma-informed, and multicultural approach tailored to your needs. I am deeply committed to helping clients find their inner strength and resilience, guiding them through challenges with empathy and compassion.
I received my B.S. in Applied Psychology and M.A. in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness at New York University. I also have a background in research on LGBTQ+ adolescent/young adults, college students, and suicide prevention, which informs my work today. I look forward to supporting you in finding healing and growth on your unique journey.
