CONFIDENTIAL AND AFFORDABLE… CALL US FOR AN APPOINTMENT. WE ARE HERE FOR YOU

Hannah Evans, MHC-LP

Are you struggling with issues related to anxiety, depression, relationships, BIPOC related issues, or major life changes? Sometimes when life gets too heavy, we need professional help, and that is 100% OKAY! Therapy is normal, therapy is cool, and I’d love to help you on your journey toward healing and self-discovery.

Clients working with me can expect a compassionate, non-judgmental, and encouraging environment to effectively communicate life stressors and dive deeper into the root of emotional patterns. Clients will have 45 minutes dedicated to them, to discuss and unpack life’s challenges. I believe in empowering clients to take ownership of their emotions, to speak about challenging life experiences and identify healthy coping behaviors to lead a positive life. I look forward to learning and growing with each of my clients.

My comprehensive experience includes - but is not limited to - working with BIPOC individuals, survivors of trauma, the LGBTQIA+ community, those struggling with mood disorders, and individuals looking to improve their relationships. The therapeutic modalities used in my work utilize interventions including psychodynamic, cognitive processing, cognitive-behavioral, and dialectical-behavioral therapy.

Here is a little about me!

I’m originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, and moved to New York City to obtain my master’s degree in Forensic Mental Health Counseling from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Graduating from John Jay College has greatly shaped my perspectives around the social, racial, and mental health injustices in our communities, all areas I deeply care about. The favorite part of my day is reading a book in the morning while listening to the birds' chirp with a hot cup of tea!

Specializes in treating: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma Related Issues, Relationship Challenges, BIPOC Related Issues

Modalities: DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), Trauma-Focused CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Motivational Interviewing (MI), CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy), Psychodynamic
