I value the process of gaining self-awareness, introspection, and determining the best path to achieving desired goals. Therapy is an individualized experience that requires patience and trust. My approach focuses on building a safe and comfortable environment that nurtures the therapeutic relationship grounded in trust and respect for the process.
My practice is centered on engaging the whole person through psychodynamic and behavioral techniques. Therapy is about facing life’s challenges and understanding the impact of external factors on our internal thoughts and processes. I am open to working with people at all different points in their lives, as growth is not linear; these life changes and developments can happen at all ages
Though I enjoy working with adults and young people alike, I am often drawn to working with young adults (18-25) as this is a time when mental health challenges can define one's identity. This can make the transition to adulthood difficult, especially for those who feel isolated, lonely, or different. It can often feel uncomfortable to advocate for your needs and even challenging to figure out what to ask for. I am here to help you navigate the best approach to building a fulfilling life. My goal is to guide and support you while best understanding you and your unique experiences.
I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology and minored in sociology at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. I am currently studying mental health counseling at Columbia University. My previous experience has focused on those with trauma, anxiety, and depression.
