I believe everyone has the inherent power in themselves to fulfill their therapy goals.
I hope to create an environment for you that feels comfortable, warm, and rooted in compassion and non-judgment. One of my roles as your therapist is to help lead you toward your goals and be your collaborator and co-pilot. You are the only expert in you.
My creative background and extensive career in the fashion industry have given me a unique perspective on approaching therapy creatively and understanding that not all communication and progress is made verbally.
My approach is humanistic and multiculturally sensitive, and I work from a strength-based lens. I believe in promoting self-advocacy and giving clients the tools and support they need to improve their well-being.
I am working towards completing my Masters in Mental Health Counseling at Saybrook University, and I have a BS in Textile Development and Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
I am also a volunteer at NAMI, where I work one-on-one with those who have family members living with severe mental health struggles.
