Rachel Emberling MHC-LP received her Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Vermont after which she went on to get her Master’s in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University. During her clinical training, Rachel worked with the Project Hospitality Wellness Center to provide individual and group therapy to individuals impacted by homelessness and housing insecurity. This allowed Rachel to work with clients suffering from a wide range of comorbid psychiatric diagnoses including Major Depression, Generalized Anxiety, Schizophrenia, and PTSD.
In her clinical practice Rachel uses a variety of relational and cognitive behavioral interventions to help clients identify patterns of behavior and assumptions about themselves and the world around them and how those patterns fit into the lives that they want to be leading. Rachel works with clients to create a safe-space environment where each client feels comfortable in exploring their authentic motivations without judgment or rejection.
