Whether you are dealing with personal, interpersonal, professional, or academic stresses, I am here to support you. My goal is to empower you to not only face your challenges but also to grow from them, building resilience and a deeper understanding of yourself along the way.
My approach to counseling is centered on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel secure exploring your issues, challenges, and feelings. Understanding our emotions is a key step in understanding ourselves, and I focus on guiding you through this process of discovery and learning. I will respect and value individual differences and be culturally sensitive to those differences. By valuing each person's strengths and uniqueness, I adopt a holistic perspective to foster their personal growth. I work with adults, couples, and families using an eclectic approach of Person-centered therapy, CBT, Emotion-focused therapy, and Systemic Family Therapy to meet clients’ unique needs for treatment.
I earned my bachelor's degree, double majoring in Biochemistry and Psychology at Brandeis University and a Master of Arts in Human Development at Columbia University. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and Wellness at New York University. As a bilingual therapist, I can provide therapy in both Mandarin and English. I will meet you at your level of readiness for change and support you as you strive toward authenticity and growth.
